ARUP got a reaction from Landlubber Mike for a gallery image, Thomas W. Lawson and Albatros
The Thomas W. Lawson was bottled May of '87. It is a split hull design due to the narrow bottle neck diameter. The masts and rigging were pulled into place one at a time. I had very limited information on it at the time of the build. It suits that long bottle well! The Albatros was bottled June of '86. It's masts were set after the hull was placed in the 'water'. It was scaled down from a kit I built a few years previously. I still have that one, too! I hope to start building more again and wish to improve my skills.
