Finally got it out but the cling film reacted with the acrylic paint and fused itself to it and made it all gooey! So I’ll repaint with enamel paint this time.

My first big disaster! I decided to make the sea with acrylic decorators caulking, which went well, then I wrapped the Hull with cling film and lightly set it in to leave an impression for it to sit in when put in the bottle later.

A Big mistake! The cling film has reacted with the paint on the hull and it is truly stuck fast! Run a ground! Each time I try to take it out the paint is coming off.☹️

Might have to fine sand and repaint a few bits, not too happy with the way the acrylic paint has turned out, looks a bit rough in places, might do the white again with enamel.?

This is the part I don’t like very much! Painting for me is a real struggle, it’ll make it or break it!?

Lots of head scratching to come plus I hate cutting them to fit through neck, nail-biting stuff!

Thanks for the add to your great forum, been admiring all your great work and decided to have a go myself. So here is my first attempt, Bit rough round the edges but it’s been a head scratching experience to say the least! Bigger bottle next time I think!
