Trying to fathom out what to put on deck as I can't find any info or pictures of this ship, it appears to be a merchantship so it's artistic licence time. Started with a hatch, from a thin piece of walnut ply left over from a ship kit I've been doing. Drilled some 0.5mm holes and just trying to square them out.

The Book of Old Ships by Henry B. Culver pg 140
Thanks, I will look it up 😁

Just started this, it is going to be a gift for someone that has done a lot for an elderly family member, Loved doing the lateen rigged la nina so much that I'm going to do it again. Only problem seems to be, at the moment, is a lack of info on this ship apart from this postage stamp, but that could give me a bit of artistic licence, so might be a good thing as far as detail goes! 😂

Hello All,
First time poster here. I have built a few wood ship kits, (I was a student of Frank Mastini back in the late 1970's). I picked up my Princess Royal Ship in a bottle kit many years ago at DisneyWorld! Build is going OK, I will post pics to point where I am at..but I need a hand if anyone can help. I have lost the instruction sheet (Blue Book). James, Lubber, can any of you guys snap photos or scan pages of the book so I can see if I am on track with this build? Greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Lobo, NY
Sorry, but I have only just started up again after quite a long break and only just noticed your request. I can scan the book for you if you still need it?

I can't take photos with my phone anymore. It's jammed.
Says I'm out of storage. I'm on the family plan. Other family members.....
i delete all photos when I'm done. I don't store them in my phone.
I guess my thread is done.
I can tell you what I'm doing on the Lexington, but without photos....
Pretty lame, huh?
Jeff.
My phone ran out of storage once, but it was phones storage, so I have installed and sd card and now save photos to that instead. Have you checked your phone to see if it's got a memory card slot? Could be an easy option for you. Otherwise we don't mind drawings! 😂Great looking ship by the way! 👍

Welcome aboard lobo! You’ve joined a great place. Definitely agree that it’s a different feel to plank on frame, I’ve only done 4 sibs so far, but recently started a plank on frame model and not enjoying it half as much, that and I can’t find a bottle big enough!😂
