It doesn't look like you are using a hinge. Are you running a string from the bottom of the mast through a hole in the deck to set the mast in position? If so, with the split hull that you are using, where does the line go through and terminate? I'm trying to figure out something similar on my SIB build where I am using a split hull like you, and I'm hoping to avoid using a hinge for the mast. Thanks in advance my friend! I move the masts apart from the hull and then I just put the masts in the holes and pull the rigging.
